Food is great! Prices are great! Beer is great! The meat was seasoned perfectly, the chips homemade and the salsa bar was so fresh. We had nachos, tacos, horchata, paletas, cervezas. My CA. family of foodies recommended this place (they regularly drive 45 minutes to eat here). It did not disappoint. We loved the vibe. My husband is a beer snob and he gave it a thumbs up.

I can't wait for a location to pop up in Denver, hint, hint :)

Used to be my favorite place in Newport Beach for a quick fun bite and some beer but sadly its losing its luster to me. There is new management and they cut the portions big time AND charged more. Nachos are half the size they use to be and they use really brittle chips now. They also now charge extra for items that used to be included like guac. Practically every time i go in now the prices are increasing and the specials are changing in order for them to profit more.

Don't believe all the reviews from a few months ago because i sadly think they were only "putting on a show" for their first few months of business. They figured they'd give everyone an amazing impression early on to gain yelp reviews and more customers then pull back the reigns and increase profits by 100% by charging more and cutting portions. Bring back the old chihuahua!!!!!!

Let me start by saying this restaurant is a good place to go if you want a cool beer experience. They give out wristbands and you basically pay per ounce poured ahead of time. They have a solid selections of beers that they brew. We had multiple times where the beer came out all foam, but they were very quick to fix it and poured another full beer for those foamy ones.

The food was not the best. I had high hopes as the restaurant is packed when we arrived. We ordered the Al Pastor burrito, carnitas tacos, and nachos. The tacos were the best of the three items ordered. The nachos didn't have much cheese, even though they were nachos, which left us with a pile of chips with toppings.

The al pastor burrito was sweet and loaded with toppings inside. They grill the burrito which is a nice touch, but not enough to pass up the taste. Unfortunately it wasn't a hit today.

I have heard really good reviews from friends that have visited so I will come back and give it another chance.

The restaurant is loud and packed which adds to a good atmosphere nonetheless. The salsas are amazing!!!!!

Cute little tap room with food to offer and a good 10-15 beers. Daily happy hour from 2-5. The food was tasty, but rice a little mushy. Only offer black beans. Competing with Santos Tacos and Chipotle in the same shopping center. A couple of outside table to soak up the ocean air. Many succulents to add to the atmosphere. Best option were the dog biscuits and water out front. How could a place be called Chihuahua Cerveza if they didn't honor man's best friend?

Avocado salsa is the best! Transforms any burrito, Taco!
